Come along to Sutton Soup.

Learn about local charities and good causes and play your part in raising money for them.  Meet new people and enjoy homemade soup served in hand made mugs crafted by a local potter.  Have a glass of wine at our pay bar.  It really is a fun and different evening out!

Hello and welcome to the Sutton Soup webpage!  Thanks for taking the time to come and visit us.

Sutton Soup will be held in the beautiful venue of St. Nicholas Church but it is NOT a religious event.  We welcome people of all faiths (and those with none!).  Nor are we aligned to any political party.  All are welcome whatever their views/background and we are hoping that Sutton Soup will reflect the vibrant and diverse population of Sutton.

You will not be surprised to hear that Sutton Soup 17, that was to be held on Thursday 23rd April, is postponed due to the current situation regarding Covid-19.

We are very sorry for any disappointment but in the current climate, we cannot deliver the event we all want for our pitchers, sponsors or attendees.

We will, of course, keep you updated, but fingers crossed we can see you in later in the year for some fun, food and fundraising! Until then, take care.

Sutton Soup - It's the sociable way of raising money for local good causes.
You come along and pay £5 for a meal of homemade soup and bread.  You get to hear four pitches from local people who need funding for a project that benefits the Sutton community.  You get to vote for the one you like best.  The winner of the vote gets to keep ALL the money we take on the door on the night.  That means your £5!  By coming together that £5 turns into hundreds of pounds for the winner.
